    I'm so Uhoh high tonight
the tide takes me without a fight
Getting hard to breathe under the
oil paint blue/green waves that roll me
from the white hot sun to the inky black night...
    Drifting farther from my dreams...
    I Guess I'll be who I'll be.
Tear the memory from my eyes
Courage wants to laugh but sighs
What does a man count to the clock in the sky?
Is patience still a virtue or just a God Damn waste of time?
    Pyres light the night
Shine down on me and who I'll be.
And the tide takes me away...
And the waves crash all the day...
And the man in the moon won't say...
That it's the dreamers of the day who know the way...
    They live dangerously...
    Dangerously...
    Dangerous.
What's killing me is killing time
so deliberately I live my life
trying to make sense of the night.
    Riddles, rhymes...irony be my plight.
Does anyone out there hear me?
no one knows who I am or what I mean.
And the tide takes me away...
And the waves crash all the day...
And the man in the moon won't say...
That it's the dreamers of the day who know the way...
    They live dangerously...
    Dangerously...
    Dangerous.

  2. Love Sonnet XI
    Pablo Neruda
"I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair.
Silent and starving, I prowl through the streets.
Bread does not nourish me, dawn disrupts me, all day
I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.

I hunger for your sleek laugh,
your hands the color of a savage harvest,
hunger for the pale stones of your fingernails,
I want to eat your skin like a whole almond.

I want to eat the sunbeam flaring in your lovely body,
the sovereign nose of your arrogant face,
I want to eat the fleeting shade of your lashes,

and I pace around hungry, sniffing the twilight,
hunting for you, for your hot heart,
Like a puma in the barrens of Quitratue."
